I worked on this project for 10 weekis in my Demo Reel 2 course at Gnomon, and I wanted to have fun trying to recreate this concept with stylized realism. Becoming more familiar with SpeedTree was a big goal of this project, and balancing all of the foliage assets was easily the biggest challenge of this. I also experimented with using blueprinting and PCG in controlled areas to give natural variation in the moss, flowers, rocks, and more. I was responsible for all aspects of the scene, and if you'd like to see more detailed breakdowns, check out the project's page on my portfolio site! (https://www.karensuart.com/)

I have my instructors Anton Napierala, Julian Elwood, David Tyler Young, and Evan Hill for all of their invaluable feedback, lookdev critiques, and assistance with the blueprinting/PCG scattering! Their insights really helped bring this project together.
